Nisula 555C

The new 555C is a multipurpose model with loading jaws, which makes timber handling and sorting effortless. Separate loading jaws also enable loading in combination use without changing grapples. The manufacturing quality and materials of the harvesting head are of the familiar Nisula quality, thanks to which the weight of the grapple is low in relation to the properties, only 810-840 kg, depending on the equipment.
The 555C offers numerous new details: All-new hydraulics for high flows, powerful Nisula NSU saw equipment, bolt-on saw housing with steel lubrication tank and patented Nisula Goldfinger knife cut. In this logging head, you will find features that make work more cost-effective.

The NCU3 control system controls the grip strength of the grapple according to the size of the wood to be treated. When tipping and moving heavier frames, a higher clamping force is applied, and at the start of the feed, the compression forces are reduced in stages to minimize friction. The diameters where the compressive forces are reduced are pre-set in the control system. The compression force of the loading jaw is controlled proportionally. If necessary, these can be adjusted through the control system, but usually at standard settings, the grapple works best.
